Balancing ourselves and the world around us….

There is a revolution taking place, a turning of the wheel, revolving and easing us out of a rut. It is a movement, a revolution in consciousness, reality evolving out of a deep muddy hole…having been stuck in self-serving greed and blind programming for far too long.

It’s like climbing up a knoll where, when one reaches its high point, a view presents itself for miles around, the layout of so much more that was previously hidden or unknown.

Perhaps it is a light of truth shining into the dark corners of what is happening in this world, exposing a greater vision.

I’m not sure what “IT” is but it seems like a great opening, surfacing like a “weed” breaking through a crack in the cement.

Balance is a natural phenomenon and leverage is its action. A wise person knows how to move things in the world through the act of leverage …placing pressure on one side of the equation or teeter totter to bring things up or down. It is the “daemon” point, the center of the X where all things are possible. It is mathematics with everything working to keep the balance on each side of the equation. It is how all things work…rebalancing when the pendulum shifts too far to one side, it begins its return to the center. Anger works like this too, until it reaches a turning point to right things.

The weight of oppressing world views, crises, traumas, fractured societies, environmental degradation and wars is a weight that pushes the world balance downward while injecting power into forces to create a better world and reality upwards. ..spring boarding humanity into a new place of inward personal understanding and collective reflection outward where good, honesty and truth can emerge.

Trust that Balance is constantly finding a way.

As heavy as some of the burdens, energies, craziness and oppression may feel, it is pushing up a balancing force to surface like a whale coming up for breath. So breathe it in, knowing that balance is always finding a way to break through…and beware of it, if you are the cause of troubles.

Balancing between extremes like good and evil, political parties, races, cultures, beliefs, opinions, economies and wealth…is important. It is tiring dealing with these polarized issues and situations all the time, struggling with problems, sometimes seemingly irreconcilable…trying to find solutions. It seems like an ever present evolution of the human condition. But it doesn’t have to persist. There is a way out of this teeter totter.

Humanity often overlooks human nature and keeping that in balance. We tend to get caught up and give energy and attention to the weights of the world and our lives, forgetting we are a part of the natural world and how it works and trusting that it and our bodies know how to rebalance. It just needs some attention to restore that balance in ourselves and the world around us. Remembering leverage, we can work on and open those blocked ruts, tensions and thoughts that constrict us.

Global and personal balancing is something to watch and be aware of. Personal balancing of giving and receiving can be checked by how balanced our bodies are. Breathing in equally through both nostrils can often be an indication of this. If one is blocked, check to see how our right and left hemispheres are doing. Stress and worry can constrict one side, whether it is the doing or receiving side can depend on whether we are right or left handed. Practice opening the nostril of blocked energy and focus on receiving or doing to personally rebalance in our world. Give each ear a gentle, thorough massage, opening the pathways. It is all a great circle.

As things unfold, trust that the good that gives us life and brought us here at this time is at work in mysterious and wonderful ways. We can ask it what can we do and take steps to restore the balance, just knowing and being aware of it working for us helps. That is the essence of human nature but it gets obliterated by focusing on the negatives and old selfish programs that have been affecting humanity for too long. It rebalances itself. In recognizing imbalance, we begin to restore ourselves to that centre. Our thoughts are powerful. Feed and feel the good.

“Abundance”

It is a symphony of energy that resonates…

To each person in a variety of ways.

To me it is a sort of happy medicine…an alignment of energy.

Living on this beautiful planet and the love it gives us makes me wonder at the mentality that thinks so despairingly. That energy alone is affecting it all.

Do we even see, hear, taste, smell and feel it?

Sometimes I wonder if people don’t just “see” with their brain and not their senses. Virtual mind control can be all encompassing. It is only because we aren’t giving anything else our attention. When we open our eyes, what do we see? Waking up is really opening up to our senses, not just our minds.

Beauty is calling us to give it attention…stars, moon, songbirds, spring, trees…so much beauty.

To me, beauty is in my senses attuning to the world around me.

In art, it is each line in harmony with others.

In sound, it is chords that flow and resonate naturally and comfortably with each other.

In smell, it is the sweet loveliness of the living Earth, like a rose blossom’s aroma.

In taste, it is a fresh, pure and delicious flavor of the Earth that satisfies.

In touch, it is what feels gentle, warm, soft and luscious on my skin and hands.

In nature it is everything growing in beauty, in comfort and respect, each caring and sharing the gifts of this Earth, nurturing and satisfying, within and all around us.

Harmonic energy creates beauty….the sharing of energy, living together in understanding…with respect for each other, living and loving life together in balance and harmony. This applies to all life, not just humans, for everything is sentient and has personality.

Harmony is a place of trust…of energy being emitted into the world, understanding and absorbing, allowing and feeling its love.

When one perceives beauty energetically, it is where we meet and appreciate all life…living in health and happiness, (not dis-cord or dis-ease), being satisfied and trusting that all is well, created in beauty and natural life-giving forces.

Things can be beautiful or ugly, whichever is the energy which emanates and whichever one feeds. It comes from within. It isn’t necessarily permanent, it can be spontaneous and immediate, it can grow and perhaps it can be destroyed. (Jury is out on that last one which is still to be determined at this stage of our relationship to the planet.)

It is a full circle where giving and receiving feels complete and abundance thrives. It is alive and possible.

“Alignment”

As energy, it is a great spiral, ever moving in a series of vortexes, evolving into form, ideas and being, out into the world and the cosmos. It is an energy that makes us whole and complete in this moment of the ever present now. So be here.

We know what our senses do, we just need to pay attention to them and what they are perceiving and what comes to us.

I love the smell of wild roses and evergreen forests. I live the color of rainbows, shapes, sky.

I love the sound of songbirds and wind in the trees and love the taste of pure, cold spring water. I love the touch of sunshine and the wind on my skin and so much more.

It is the sacred dance of abundance…A bon dance.

It excites an inner core that stimulates and ignites the flame that

is the force of life and true human nature.

It produces a happiness that radiates out and resonates with

fields that await and love this energy, a cosmic field all around us.

It is like a bubble of joy that expands into more bubbles,

A bubble bath of life…a laugh from deep inside.

It often emanates as health and happiness, as a self aware contentment…

Comfort in one’s body, mind and being….at ease, not dis ease.

It is a knowing of our individual place in this world

Connected and a part of it all,

releasing worry, pain, fear and poverty of being.

It is a place of peace and sharing, understanding

that the flow of this moment in time has been here forever

and is perpetual in its source, providing what is needed,

giving life to this world and guiding all.

Trust that and what birthed it and us into presence.

A Rallying Cry For Sanity

War in the Middle East has been an effort for decades by arms manufacturers and military…building, planning, scheming up ways to destroy people and the planet…..brewing hatred, revenge, prejudice and destruction….powered by fear and aggression.

It is costing millions of dollars a day to drop bombs, missiles, attack drones and more on people, land, forests, animals, birds and more, destroying life.

And affecting life everywhere.

All paid for on the backs of taxpayers….

We the people run for cover

while the game of thrones destroy each other

and the planet.

Pitting those little countries with their various religions against each other, getting the bigger countries involved and there you have it…human madness at its best.

And what is the difference between a soldier and a martyr? Not much. They both fight to the death, with differing perspectives….the casualties of war, collateral damage, like women, children and more are considered martyrs in many mid-Eastern countries. They died for their beliefs…their religion, their God and country. Western soldiers think slightly differently but it is all the same in the end.

…..Rationalized by men, religion, governing bodies, imbalanced perceptions.

“Fountain of Life”

I’m on a rant but very serious…

As a great grandmother, I feel an impulse to speak out….not my general “make love not war” words but a cry for this Earth, the children, mothers, plants, animals, life on this planet and for future generations of all species.

In my life I have used much energy in trying to protect life from greed and profit, trying to bring balance, gratitude and respect for life into a world out of balance and now I feel it is imperative to speak out strongly against it going any further.

It is hard to conceive that so many men can run amok so thoroughly.

Many will just do what they are told irregardless of the negative energies that go with the actions…thinking they are so superior, goaded on by religion, his story, government or money, capable of killing and destroying wantonly, seemingly without a thought to the consequences. Those men with their trophies…animals, wives, possessions, illusory power, money and more…how much do they need?

We are all responsible for our actions..what goes around comes around affecting everything and can be felt around the globe because it is all connected.

“Guarding the World”

The situation is presenting a strong rallying cry for women to step forward to take the reins of feminine wisdom and guidance to ensure that there will be a future for life on Earth. As mothers, grandmothers, aunties and daughters, if we care about life and future generations, it is time to protect it.

No longer can we cater to the confused, off the rails, deranged male egos that have no respect or care for life and the beauty of this world. All they seem to do is want is to own, possess, demean and eradicate it, wanting more to destroy.

Enough is past the enough point. Done with it, fully over this insane game. No more destruction, war, trampling this planet until there is no tomorrow.

Take your money, your war machines, your genetically modified monsters, your military killing poisons, your corporate and development schemes and shove it.

Take back our Earth and join the millions of people who see through this madness and step into the heart of peace, beauty, harmony, abundance, health and true wealth…that of inner well being with all our relations.

It’s time! No more destruction!

There are good men, those that understand the true power of this Earth, the Sun, Moon, stars, the power of love and that the feminine carries life and that the young are our future. Until that is understood, appreciated and cared for, we will continue being part of this death cult.

There is a well of power rising up, emanating from the fierce force of life itself. We can feel it in the Earth, the wildlife, the oceans and waters, the forests, all that still remains. It is pulling and calling and wrapping itself around our beings and consciousness, bringing awareness of what we are capable of. Many women are feeling it in their core….it is care, it is good, it is nurturing, it is who we are…and we are connected to the cosmos, the cosmic force that brought us here to be alive and experience, see and learn and now to give back, take back, heal, give thanks and care for Life on Earth.

A powerful Equinox is bringing Winds of Change. Now is the time to plant the seeds of the vision we want for the future, joining hearts and minds together.

It is a confusing time but ancient teachers said that if you are confused, congratulations! That opens the door for the new beginnings, new insights and positive change to take seed, planting the seeds of love.

I started drawing and singing and sending out love to the wonderful little herring that migrate up the West Coast at this time of year and spawn in special areas where their eggs cling to rocks, kelp, eelgrass and more, nurturing and feeding the ocean and all inhabitants of the coast.

The full moon of March 1st started with a calm sea and foam over the ocean around my home. Normally the sea foam is a result of big waves crashing on the rocks but it was calm yet the ocean was frothy…and there was a faint smell of fish in the air. (It is interesting living on the ocean, when out in the boat, we often could smell salmon in the ocean around us. Not a strong odor but just their presence which was great for catching fish for dinner.)

The cove below my house, starting to be milky and frothy.

Then on March 2nd, with a full eclipse of the moon taking place across North America…..it happened!!

This is what herring spawning looks like…. (Thanks to Atleo Air)…

The water turns turquoise from the male’s milky spawn which coats the eggs that stick to the kelp.

With the spawning herring come all the marine and coastal life that depends upon this migration. Eagles come from inland and Halibut, Cod and Skates lay their eggs offshore anticipating the emergence of the millions of tiny herring. Everything is fed…ravens, wolves, bears, crows, shorebirds and more as well as much of the marine life and wild salmon on the coast. It is one of the most important migrations in regards to the life in the ocean as well as the inlets and on land.

Then the grey whales and humpbacks, followed by thousands of seagulls, sea lions, eagles, shorebirds, seals and more.

….This was the bay near my home.

First Nations traditionally put branches in the water for the herring to lay their eggs on as well as harvesting the roe on kelp for their smokehouses and to eat fresh.

Roe on kelp….above on eelgrass and below on big fronds of kelp.

The spawn lasts only a few days in each area then the fish move on and others follow, moving up the coast, fertilizing the marine environment. The eggs generally hatch out within a few weeks releasing millions of little herring, vulnerable before the scales grow on their bodies.

Herring are threatened by sea lice from fish farms, by pollution from sewage and other effluent, by fish farms that smell of one of their main predators, salmon. The herring are a sensitive and fragile species that depend upon their sheer numbers in order to survive the many predators which depend upon them for survival in the early spring as well as the environments and weather they have to deal with.

Fishing for herring has been taking place forever, everything feeds on it. If the fish lay eggs on top of other eggs, if it gets too thick, the eggs underneath can get smothered. Some fishing is not necessarily a bad thing if is it is only taking a small amount of what it can sustain, leaving lots to return, never letting it get depleted.

So I just wanted to share this with all of you…our efforts to help the natural world and ourselves survive.

Happy Valentine’s Day 2026

Peace in a pod, Fruit on a vine

There was once a tribe called “Peaceinapods”. They roamed the land we call the Americas freely. They didn’t have a written language as exists now. They lived wild and naturally in unison with each other and the Earth…the land, waters and wildlife. They spoke in terms of being all one, every living and inanimate being was one whole. There was no separation…no “you” or “them” because everything was just “we” or “us”. When they looked at each other or beings around within their world, they saw themselves…so there was no “other” or “they”.

When they spoke, it sounded like the wind making song, somewhat like the sounds of birds, or the tall standing ones, the trees. Everything expressed itself in this way, understanding instinctively what meaning was being conveyed.

There was no war or fighting for there was nothing to fight about. Everything was shared and treated as one would expect to be treated. They were sometimes gentle, sometimes fierce, like the forces they lived with, being bold and powerful, fully human and humane, nothing mean. Because of this, they were strong and healthy, treating everything respectfully including their bodies, their children and all living things around them.

The children were loved and free to learn, play and enjoyed helping. There was no definition or separation between work, play, exercise and sharing…it was all one and kept in sync with whatever was needed.

Life had no time constraints, no old or young, tomorrow or past…life came in the moment which was savoured and different every moment so even the definition of moment hardly existed, it was simply “now”.

They valued themselves, therefore they valued each and everything, being loving and grateful in the valuing of oneself. There was no self so there was no selfishness. Sharing and caring, helping and laughing together was how the society functioned.

There was no hierarchy, no rulers, no rules, no harm, no criminalization, they would sit in circle and share ideas that would benefit all, knowing that the health and wealth of one was the well being of all.

They ate what was given to them by the Earth and planted what grew and what was needed. All the seeds were planted back in the Earth because seeds, like children, were sacred. They found what they needed, it appeared for them. There was no killing for food …food was plentiful and gave itself to them. Berries, flowers, sprouts, seeds, nuts, sometimes eggs and fish or meat if it was offered. Seasons changed and each presented a variety of food, colors, temperatures and offerings that suited each difference. Migrations of wildlife passed through their lives, sometimes providing an offering and always a miracle of abundance. Life and death was part of the wild way and the people accommodated each birth and each passing as their own, honoring both. No one took life for it was a precious gift to each being and unique, different but still all one.

The uniqueness of each one provided knowledge and wisdom of how to live and survive on this beautiful planet so each life was a treasure to learn from. Stories were told, events described in detail and in pictures as well as pantomime….A great pastime as well as games and other fun and interesting, artistic and creative endeavours.

There were “sports” that were played, particularly with balls or special objects but they were for pleasure, not competition. There were no “opposing teams” in the games or sports, as there was no opposition. There was simply fun and playing together, there was no winning or losing.

No one felt the need to be better than anyone for that would exhaust one’s potential. Being comfortable and relaxed was important.

There were games and challenges they entertained knowing they weren’t “competing” with anyone or thing, simply challenging their own being to their full capability and capacity, which often seemed infinite when examined.

And so, in this oneness, without separation, in the fascination of diversity and connection, the people and land, waters, plants and wildlife sustained a full circle of life in unison and harmony with all around them knowing they were all One….

Keeping up with it all…ha ha

I have been rolling my eyes over whatever the next media showdown or soap opera play is going on, trying to navigate what rings true and what is just more AI algorhythmic control. Even the media can’t keep up with it, showing one scene then another attempting to figure out what script they are supposed to be following. I’ve stepped back from paying attention to it or trying to recognize who all the players are, there are so many and always new ones. It’s like Hollywood reruns, having run the old gamut of scenarios and actors.

But…this is a very interesting time, with mind opening and altering possibilities coming in constantly, albeit sometimes gently, easily, allowing us to examine and process it all. 2026 is looking at some big ones on the horizon and I am enjoying the challenges and the quiet times of this moment as it unfolds.

Solstice in the Northern hemisphere always presents revelatory inspirations as the veils are thin, the nights long and spirit is close, the Uni verse speaking to us. Such a dazzling planet gives me wonder….some beings in warmth and long days, some in cold and darkness with only the stars, moon and reflections to light up the way.

This amazing planet…rolling through space….can you feel it?…

…this churning, pulsing, living, breathing moving ball of life force upon which we live and move?

…it’s flowing, flaming heat and crystals of ice and rock, radiating the light of the stars within it.

…it’s moods and temperament, sometimes soft, sweet and gentle, sometimes fierce exploding forces of energy rolled up into earth, fire, wind and water.

Do you feel it, hear it, sense its constant irrepressible power all around, above and beneath us?…moving in waves of heat, warmth, light, water, air, wrapping us in all its possibilities…

Yes we feel and hear it, falling on us, drenching everything in its moisture, or flakes of snow, ice or dust, heat or frost and everything in between, gradations of every combination and diversity of being…liquid, gas, solid. Impermanent yet permanent power. Maybe if we appreciate and love it more, it will become more balanced rather than extreme, somewhat like the response of anything to love, but there are always exceptions.

Drawing it in, being grateful, expressing it out, breathing our beings alive..life.

And so, this great ball of which we are a part, rolls through space, turning, churning, yearning, learning….all of us together, a bit at a time.

And as we come through this Solstice, on the brighter side, if one wants to use that expression, there are many people closing their eyes and “seeing” ….connecting up with ancient knowledge that never forfeited the way, getting into Earth based medicines, caretaking, nuturing, feeling the pleasures of being in nature and being a natural humane being, a part of the whole yet wholly in it. It isn’t opting out, it is opting in and hallelujah! Thanks for the teachings and instinct to know and to choose what is decent and good for all.

“Everything is connected”

In the streaming of the present NOW, it is interesting to see how easily people are led into sabotaging their own desires and greater good.

Manifesting good and living in the moment, standing in its ever present light is available to anyone who recognizes and allows the synchronizing of oneself with its flow.

It is easily disrupted by doubt, criticism, negativity, judgement and stepping out of it, defining separation, which doesn’t really exist unless one feeds that divide. Fear, loathing, criticism and superiority are examples of energies perpetrated by this stepping outside of who we really are.

Us and them, alienation, division, separateness, feeling alone, judging others as separate from self, hastens the validity of that even though everything is ONE.

Declaring everything a train wreck is a good example of sabotaging what one wants to see. Simply by declaring it in that perspective, it gives that train wreck energy which may be contagious to others. Words, thoughts, feelings, visions…are all contributing to our collective consciousness. Some give so much power to the very forces oppressing them that it is hard to release that reality but by simply stepping away, out of the polarization, the loss of energy depletes the very force one is pushing against.

It doesn’t matter whether it is bad or good energy, it is just energy.

This polarization is a condition that has been conditioned into humanity from day one…through society, religions, governments, communities, families, education and class structures…even into the natural world where humans assume some sort of false supremacy and superiority.

When one starts to see oneself as one with it all, even at the point of condemning and hating others, it all falls into a place where one’s energies can change the world rather than getting swept up and devoured by it.

Then, we can affect change, bring in the light, be the light and shift the energy into a more beautiful time on this Earth and in the cosmos.

There is powerful learning and realization on the horizon for all.

It is an end to the “us” and “them” paradox that exists and enables the disempowerment and destabilization of who we really are. That old concept perpetuates the loss of our greater spiritual being and creates discord, alienation, war, hatred and distrust, within ourselves and in the greater consciousness. It requires a stepping out of that old narrative into a place of trust in the greater good, the power of that over fear and cowardice…understanding, then standing up to anything that still represents that old schooled knowledge that has undermined the full power of our connection to who we always have been and where we may go.

This is not saying or judging bad or good, what has been seems like it was necessary to bring us to this point and place in time…to the threshold of of our magnificence, our true being, power, “mana”, our own personal power connected to the cosmos.

Without sabotaging our world and our power within it…we must trust, allowing and being conscious of what our thinking is doing to our selves and all in connection to that. When we predefine the path as being not enough or judged to be wanting or bad, we lay the foundation for that to exist.

Alienating from anything is stepping away from the source. Being discerning is different, it is being cautious and making good choices. Alienation separates and divides. It is the beginning of the undoing, the unravelling of who we are, a fragmentation of our being.

Giving attention, thought, power and energy focuses recognition and builds upon what we care about…positive or negative, feed what you love and want to see in the world. It is an open book, waiting to create what we desire. Let it be good. Do no harm. All is One.

It is contagious, a light going on as fast or faster than the fear virus of covid thinking and acting took hold. So we have done the drill, it was pretty drastic, lessons learned, a harsh experiment but now we know the speed at which change can happen. So this time around, let’s shift into the light and overturn the upside down power game, internalize and manifest something that has been waiting for this moment.

Don’t let alienation become the substrate upon which we build or destroy. It only serves to dig the rabbit hole deeper. How far down this abyss does one want to go? There is no end until it is ended….and when it is ended, we step out into the precipice of our potential….and it can and will be magnificent!

Putting energy into words is challenging.

The older I get the less I know, the world is a constantly changing and learning process but I will use words….

What is Love?

It is quite an undefinable magnetic force of attraction.

It is also gratitude for what we have.

It is beauty, synchronicity.

It is caring sharing and being considerate.

It is feeling, being sensitive.

It is awareness.

It is kindness in recognizing our oneness with it all.

It is a gut feeling that is our umbilical chord to the universe.

What is its opposite force?

Criticism hurts,

Judgement condemns,

Blame harms,

Fear confines,

Negativity imprisons,

hatred Destroys….

And Complaining is just as debilitating, only directed inwards.

My grandfather had a saying for that…

“Quit your belly-aching”….which is just about what it is.

So I learn…that what one does to others, one does to oneself. We are reflections of each other….everything is connected. Thinking negative thoughts about others, verbalizing them, hurts them and oneself….like shooting darts that ricochet.

Forgiving others is good but forgiving oneself is the best. What others do is their life and may reflect back on them. One cannot directly change another person, one can only heal oneself. Forgive oneself for hating, forgive oneself for criticizing and judging others. Recognizing hatred, judgement and criticism and forgiving oneself for this helps in one’s healing. Putting this behind allows freedom, no longer bound by walls of negativity…remembering that the healing of one is the healing of all.

Discernment is important, tolerance is good but has its points. Patience is exemplary but it also has its limitations. Respecting ones truth with tolerance, patience and discernment is key, adding kindness helps.

Polarities….

Light or dark, good or bad, right or wrong, strengths and weaknesses, up or down, love or hate…How we see the world is what we create for ourselves.

Real freedom is within….not outside or around us. Others do not define oneself….we each define, outline and sculpt what we see, believe, receive and who we are.

Everyone, everything is different yet composed of the one glue that molds reality. The uni-verse, the one voice, the original energy that split into fractals, fractions of the whole that are simply offspring of the same, reflecting and mirroring itself…greater or smaller, minute or magnified, it is all one energy throughout, unified.

So we are each creators of the whole…whenever one’s energy goes out, whether thought, emotion, reaction, voice, sound, action…whatever vibration we emit becomes a reality of the whole. This comes back to affect ones soul so I correct the energy, change the narrative, rebalance, focus, remembering that….

Love is the most powerful glue that connects it all. We are here because of it. Love is magnetic and everywhere…holding it all together despite fractures, fractions, factions, fractals, etcetera, etcetera and…

I finally come to recognize that love chose me and that is humbling, so I choose love.

So I AM

And We Are LOVE!💕

Otherwise we probably wouldn’t be here.

As we come into Equinox…equal day/equal night and New Moon

It is a powerful time to change our narratives. People all over the Earth are doing what they can in their way to bring peace and understanding over violence and destruction.

Living with the natural world where I do, I want to explain some old Indigenous teachings from here….

Changing the narrative….”good guiding wolf” instead of “big bad wolf”.

In the Indigenous teachings of this territory on the edge of the Pacific Ocean in Canada, the Wolf and Killer Whale are the BALANCE KEEPERS. Wolf keeps the balance on the land and Killer Whale keeps the balance in the sea….and they are interchangeable. Both kill in order to survive, but often they are scavengers cleaning up dying, weak, diseased individuals and dead carcasses that can lead to disease. Wolves have been chastised for this and often misunderstood by humans, being shot, poisoned, culled and exterminated ruthlessly. In their world, they take what is needed…to exterminate other species would mean their own demise. They are careful that way, the natural world is their supermarket. They do not reproduce when there are too many of them for the territory. But killing of them is still taking place in British Columbia, Canada, where government has killed thousands aerially over the past few years, they say to protect Caribou, but logging, hunting, development, resource extraction and disease are destroying those more than wolves.

According to the old traditional teachings, a Chief is as great as the number of wolves in the territory…the more wolves, the richer and more powerful is the Chief, his or her family, their tribe and the territory. This was easy to understand because the more wolves, the richer the land was to sustain all, a healthy ecosystem. It is taboo to kill a wolf and the Chief’s family was directly connected to the wolves. If a wolf was killed or died, the Chief’s family was in danger. What happened to the wolves happened to the Chief’s family.

The Chief has helpers, “wolves”…members of the tribe who look out for the Chief, consult with and abide by what is needed to care for the land, water and people. When a Chief passes, the “wolves”, the Chief’s helpers, come into the funeral, dressed as wolves, on all fours, and in pitch darkness, take the casket and body away amid the sounds of the wolves howling, the cries of killer whales and the wails of the mourners. Often a killer whale will show up if the body was being transported by boat and accompany the body and spirit of the Chief to its resting place.

These teachings go back over the edge of time and are very important. Much of this has been ignored in the scientific approaches to the effects of what we do to the land, waters and wildlife…the spiritual aspects of our relationship to this planet.

I live on an island where wolves come and keep the balance, the Killer whales pass by and keep things like otters and seals, etc. in check. Following natural law, wolves keep rodents like voles, mice, rats, raccoons, deer and other living beings from overcoming other life here, when those species become too many for their own survival, especially diseased individuals. Wolves and Killer Whales maintain the health and well-being of the lands and waters.

I look forward to the arrival of the wolf. This isn’t a big island for their survival but one stayed here for two years in my 50 plus years of living here. I love hearing their call, the song of the wolf. It is sometimes a lonely call, sometimes just checking and sometimes just singing for the pure joy of living, like humans, birds and other beings do. The song and sound of being alive, of gratitude.

My time in nature where I live, mostly in the wild, is always teaching me, daily learning lessons of life and that of my fellow brothers and sisters of the wild. What is it we call wild? What is domestic?...domesticated, regulated, conditioned to patterns of daily activities as opposed to living with the unknown?

My universal voice, the “universe” is always there talking to me or guiding when needed or when I acknowledge it which I mostly do unless I am very distracted. That is my “wild” voice, my natural being in sync with all around me and where I understand how it all works and what is going on.

It is fairly spontaneous, guiding me daily, inspiring my creativity, showing me the way, reminding me where my attention needs to be directed. It alerts me to be cautious and guides me on what plants I need for healing and well-being. It is me in unison with the world and cosmos around me. Getting to hear and trust it is the challenge and I question it as well.

And so here, camping on the edge of a big, wild river, amidst ancient intact forests with large and small bear tracks, bull elk and female tracks, deer and more all around, with wild salmon in the river starting to come in to spawn and die, I am aware of all the intricacies of the life surrounding me and listening and watching for the wolves and the killer whales, the balance keepers, that are on the edge of extinction themselves in many areas and hoping humanity will come to its senses, become more balanced, stop being so polarized with hatred, violence and entrenched attitudes and come to appreciate and respect all life with tolerance, a more open mind, gratitude and love for it all.

The Balance Point.

Living in the Eternal Now…..

There is no tangible reality but that of the wave lengths of our beings…our senses and mind in concert with our heart waves, heat waves, our reflexion, our attention colliding and intermingling with all others…where these cross paths, a connection is made which increases its reality in our consciousness, the more energy it is given, the stronger it becomes. We exist as strong beings simply by being present!

We are creating our reality….

What we direct our attention to manifests as it flows through the intertwined connecting energies of all life around us and in the cosmos, a mutual awareness, and a cosmic dance of creation in the moment as it is flowing through and with us infinitely.

We are on the verge of a new consciousness of understanding how all is connected holistically.

The old paradigms of atoms and particles will dissolve into the ether from where it came as we grasp the greater whole of the energy matrix of wave lengths overlapping wavelengths, some from eons ago and miles away but time and distance will also crumble in the face of the understanding of human perception and the instance of now.

We have been programmed through education, media and others to believe a certain rationale of physics and collectively we have manufactured what we were led to believe but that world is falling away into the bigger picture of awareness of who and what we really are and are capable of.

Imagine it, assume it, become it, love it and live it…we are not victims nor poor or disempowered…we are rich beyond belief. Money is a creation of controllers, power exists in all, infinite power surrounds us, showing us and patiently waiting for the knowledge and wisdom to be understood and absorbed.

We are a freeway of energy, throttle down!

Stay in that lane of power.

Know and own that power. Assume its abilities. No fear.

There is a profound sense of being through peripheral vision of all that surrounds us.

Humility helps keep one aware, not fear.

Sleep more, stay hydrated, be in nature and spend time on one’s own.

They are two very different approaches to who we are in this world….

WISHES…

Wishing is putting energy in the hands of another and hoping for an outcome.

Wishes are like prayers, asking for someone or something else to accomplish the wish. It is energy that goes out into the world but leaves it in the hands of others to be fulfilled.

INTENTIONS….

Intent is focusing our energy on what we can imagine.

Putting energy into intent enables it, whether it is physical or mental.

It is a tool to creating what we want to happen.

Intent is a powerful energy, like a focused laser beam.

Using our focused intent, with heart, words, imagination and body brings it alive.

Love and appreciation are energies that can power intent.

Sending intentions out into the world and into ourselves with love and appreciation helps to establish the reality of it all.

Honoring the intended energy, giving it power, bringing it up through our beings and out into the world empowers the vision to manifest.

Loving and appreciating the forces and beings that help to create it enhances its realization. Energy emanates like dropping a stone into a pool of water creating concentric rings of energy but it can be focused into a tsunami of power, so be careful.

We are all energy with powerful abilities, everything is energy with consciousness, whether one is aware of it or not.

All we really have is our energy and what we do with it.

We are creating all the time, with every thought, breath and movement.

Awareness of the energy of intention brings it into focus.

We can bring energy in or let it evaporate away.

We can enhance with love or destroy with negativity.

The choices are ours, what we give attention and energy to are what makes the world we live in.

Make it good with love and attention as it will come full circle.

Then give thanks. THANK YOU!
