Herstory comes down through the ages, passed on through eons of time that created life that begat more life and etched the knowledge in the annals of time. History was created by words written and encased in books, laws, strictures often imposed on life by whomever was writing history... like the church and state or by whatever means or whomever was defining it and incorporating it into history.

Herstory is found in the song of the birds, the rings of growth in a tree, in the twisted roots and branches of ancient forests, in the wind that speaks to us through the needles and leaves of the trees, in the diversity of species on the planet, in the stars, moons and planets and the sun that warms us. It is written in the rocks and sand, in the mountains that erode, in the ocean life and reaching out into the galaxies and cosmos.

You hear herstory in the bubbling brook, in the rush of the waterfall, in the lapping of the waves on the shore, the breathing of the ocean, the change of tides, the new buds and new babies. You hear herstory all around us daily as it waits constantly for our awareness. It is in the movement of life all around us, in the youth playing and laughter and in all forms of expressions like the flight of the eagle or the call of the wolf.

It is found in the seeds and nuts and fruits and flowers. Through the seasons and in the seasons herstory is being told, changed and repeated.

There is medicine in the plants, there for you to smell and taste and be healed. The plants and their colors tell herstory of healing and well being, nourishing and caring for us all. Milk, sap, juice, syrup, honey, sweetness and love is created from plants.

Herstory is being told to us daily, it is only for us to wake up and be aware of it. The plants, animals, birds, insects, wind, water and more are telling us personally herstory. Pay attention for what one needs is presented and it is the most valuable thing one can pay for. Inside and outside, it speaks to us, whispering the unfolding story so we may hear and understand.

Herstory is always being written and we help to write it. Leave it as good or better than you found it, love it and care for it as it does us all, then the full circle will reveal itself and we will understand who we are in this great story.
