I hope you can open these videos.
Like a wave crashing….releasing Oxygen….everything is connected.
They called it a “Bomb Cyclone” with warnings of a deep low pressure heading towards the coast. Winds came out of the East as the colder mountain air collided with the warmer temperatures of the ocean. It came in with blinding lightning, thunder that shook the Earth, hailstorms, pelting rain and massive waves crashing in and exploding on the rocks. Logs were thrown around like pick up sticks and created a battering ram of power moving in and out with the surges. It was so loud that all one could do was laugh and enjoy the magnificence of it all.
The adrenaline and invigorating energies of the power of this planet leaves me in awe of the forces of the elements. I am so grateful to be alive and safe enough to experience it all and I thank these forces for being kind to me.
Some of these videos may take a few moments to upload but I think they may be worth it. I was exhausted from trying to film the waves coming in and running out back to see if my woodshed was still intact. The ocean did go up around and into it but nothing was damaged or lost. All is well, so far. I think that it is impossible to ever capture the terrific beauty and presence of it through these devices but it is a taste. I enjoyed the real deal.
These baby raccoons playing were pretty cute too….
Wow, you have the best view ever! The power of those waves, and the beauty, make me very grateful to be alive, here on Planet Earth, and especially in Clayoquot Sound. So grateful I got to come back. The raccoons are adorable.
